In February, we celebrated Black History Month and our partnerships with the Portland Timbers and the Portland Trail Blazers. These collaborations provided platforms to support at-risk youth and adults through education, mentoring, and employment services. We're grateful for the recognition from the Trail Blazers and the opportunity from the Timbers. Let's continue to honor the Black community and strive for equality and justice.

On February 7th, a massive fire engulfed Royce's Prop Shop, a vital neighbor and supporter of our North High School Campus. Despite the intense blaze and reports of explosions, our school remained unharmed, thanks to the swift response from Portland Fire and Rescue. We're grateful for their efforts and hopeful for Royce's Prop Shop's recovery.
