POIC + RAHS Community Members Featured in Portland's 100 Black Leaders List

POIC + RAHS President + CEO Joe McFerrin II featured in the Portland Business Journal.

Some great news to cap this year’s Black History Month! POIC + RAHS is honored to have President + CEO Joe McFerrin II featured in Rose City's Finest: Celebrating 100 Black Leaders In Portland, from the Portland Business Journal. Alongside our organization’s leader, several other community members close to the POIC mission were showcased as well, including Board Member Dr. Robin Beavers of Trillium Family Services and Lakayana Drury, Executive Director of Word is Bond. Word is Bond is a member of the Public Safety village, and Lakayana has also served as a teacher at Rosemary Anderson High School.

We are proud to have these leaders as part of the POIC + RAHS community and thankful for their work advocating for improving the life chances of our vulnerable and underserved youth and families.
