Few things in this world can change the trajectory of your life. Getting a living-wage job is one of them. We need to act now at such a critical time for our community. It's a tall task to get people to work, but we're up to the challenge!
With our communityβs support at the Work Connections Event, we raised a total of $124,148 - getting close to our goal of raising $150,000. The donations help us train and place underserved Black and Brown youth and adults into jobs that can help sustain their families. Giving them a chance to rise above the pandemic's obstacles and begin to build a better life.
We still need more people to step up. We are less than $30,000 away from our overall goal. The work POIC + RAHS does to remove barriers and surround individuals with wraparound support is not possible without this support. Let's give our job seekers the chance they deserve; they'll surprise us all!
