Worksite Developer Assistant (Temporary)

 

Location: Portland, Oregon

Hours: M - F , 9am – 5pm

Reports to: Director of Employment and Training

Salary: $21 - $23/hour

Job Summary: 

This position is responsible for supporting the Work Opportunities Training team in meeting departmental goals and contractual outcomes by entering, monitoring, and synthesizing data about individual participants’ progress and milestones and program performance.

Essential Duties

  • Enters, manages, and assesses participant and program data to support the success of workforce development services.

  • Ensures timely data entry across several WOT programs to maintain up-to-date analyses and reporting of individual and program performance.

  • Maintains confidentiality of data and personal information at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Utilizes Oregon’s workforce development data management system, I-Trac, to track services, milestones, and outcomes.

  • Creates and maintains Excel spreadsheets utilizing basic Excel formulas.

  • Learns about and understands the complexity of multiple government contracts, including funding restrictions, program deliverables, and diverse data entry requirements.

  • Works with and supports direct service and management staff to ensure contract compliance.

  • Provides administrative support, such as monitoring spending and budgets, preparing and monitoring participant files, and daily office management.

  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

  • Respectfully takes direction from Supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned.  

Experience/Education:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
