POIC + RAHS is in Give!Guide 2022!

POIC + RAHS is once again in Willamette Week’s Give!Guide, a fundraising campaign highlighting the mission of over 200 Portland nonprofits. Together, we hope to meet our fundraising goals by sharing our work and its importance to the community.

Throughout November and December, we’ve been sharing how your giving helps us lead and implement change through mental health initiatives, trauma-informed care, and violence prevention and intervention.

Watch to learn more about Give!Guide 2022 and how your giving to POIC + RAHS makes an impact.

Mental Health Support

To help young people be their most successful, students must receive mental health support alongside their education. Our scholars may be dealing with situations that negatively impact their mental health. At Rosemary Anderson, we ensure that every student has access to the wraparound services they need for their well-being both inside and outside of the classroom.

Rosemary Anderson student Kiana knows mental health is "what your whole day is going to depend on." Hear how the support she receives at school betters her days.

Rosemary Anderson student Victoria shares her experience with an on-campus therapist and how she feels heard at school.

POIC + RAHS staff are in the community daily, ready to serve through intense situations surrounding community violence, crisis intervention, and more. Focusing on Workforce Wellness boosts our response and reduces burnout, sustaining our staff and healing our participants. Your giving helps heal the healers and secures this life-changing work through resilient, trauma-informed staff.
