Big December News - big funding, BIG LOVE

New Culinary Director for The Kitchen, Chef Kiara Hardy

POIC + RAHS hires Culinary Director for The Kitchen

In early 2022, The Kitchen - the new culinary academy at POIC + RAHS - will launch under the helm of Culinary Director Kiara Hardy. Chef Kiara, owner of Kitchen Killa Culinary Solutions, will prepare the training curriculum and ultimately the tasty and nutritious meals for Rosemary Anderson students. Armed with a passion for food, a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, and a background in business operations, Chef Kiara is already a welcome and valued member of our team.

Chef Kiara is getting a head start with bringing delicious meals to students. Throughout December, she is hosting apop-up lunchtime at each of our campuses for students and staff. Visit her Instagram page @kitchen_killa to see what else she is β€œchefing” up!

#ServeLove is not only The Kitchen's call to action. It's also a new cookbook of recipes sourced directly from the POIC + RAHS community. Heirloom recipes from staff, comforting meals from parents, favorite recipes from students. With the cookbook, every food-loving Portlander has an opportunity to become part of the Rosemary Anderson community and help Serve Love to people who need it.

To help fund The Kitchen's programming, the first 50 donors who give $75 or more will receive a copy of the limited-edition Serve Love cookbook. Donate here to get your copy - don't miss out!

A huge thank you to Weiden+Kennedy for their outstanding work in helping us create the Serve Love Cookbook and video. Click here to learn more about this incredible partner collaboration.
